Let’s Spread the word about Sustainability

The UN Global Compact Network Thailand (GCNT) is now accepting applications from upper secondary school students (Grades 10–12), vocational certificate and diploma students (ปวช./ปวส.), and university students to join SDGs Young Creator 2026 — a hands-on media production workshop for sustainability communication, held at GCNT Expo 2026. Participants can compete for prizes worth over ฿140,000 in total, with certificates awarded to all who take part.

Who can join?

  • Students at the upper secondary, vocational certificate/diploma, or university level, forming teams of 2–10 people (members may come from different institutions)
  • Interest in or existing knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Interest in media and communications work such as news writing, article writing, photography, video production, or graphic design

How to Participate?

1. Complete the Thai SDGs Micro-Primer online course

At least one team member must complete the Thai SDGs Micro-Primer online course provided by the United Nations Thailand (approx. 30 minutes), and take a screenshot of course completion to submit with the application.

2. Submit the application form
One team member submits the application form (link to be provided), attaching the screenshot of course completion.

3. Attend the Online Orientation
A team representative or all team members must attend a 30-minute Online Orientation session, choosing one of the following two slots:

  • Session 1: Friday, 28 August 2026, 16:30–17:00
  • Session 2: Saturday, 29 August 2026, 10:00–10:30

4. Take part on-site at GCNT Expo 2026
All participants will attend an on-site media production workshop from 10:00–12:00 at GCNT Expo 2026 (further details to follow), and will then serve as SDGs Young Creators throughout the event.
Event dates: 2–4 September 2026, at True Digital Park

5. Produce content
Teams may submit either:

  • A short video clip with a short caption, for publication on TikTok of GCNT and SI SPHERE
  • An article with accompanying images and an infographic, for publication on the GCNT website and GCNT Facebook page
  • Submission deadline: 23:59 hrs, 18 September 2026

Publication and prizes

GCNT will begin publishing submitted entries from 21 September 2026 onward. The judging panel’s decision is final.

Top Content — University Level

  • 1st Prize: ฿20,000
  • 2nd Prize: ฿15,000
  • 3rd Prize: ฿10,000

Top Content — Secondary School Level

  • 1st Prize: ฿20,000
  • 2nd Prize: ฿15,000
  • 3rd Prize: ฿10,000

Top Engagement — Both Secondary School and University Levels

  • 5 prizes per level, 10 prizes total, ฿5,000 each (฿50,000 total)

Transport

    • By BTS Skytrain (recommended)
      Alight at Punnawithi Station, Exit 6, and walk approximately 300 meters via the skywalk to the entrance of True Digital Park, West wing.
    • By private car / taxi
      True Digital Park is located at 101 Sukhumvit Road, Bang Chak, Phra Khanong, Bangkok. Both the West and East entrances are accessible. Parking validation is available.
    • By public bus
      Routes 2, 23, 25, 38, 45, 511
